September 3, 2024 - Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭13‬-‭14

“The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you. You know all about us, inside and out. You are mindful that we’re made from dust.” Psalms 103:13-14 TPT

Father, we praise you for your unending and unconditional love for us. What an honor to be called your children. We could never ask for a better father. We thank you for how you love us so tenderly. We praise you for how you care for our needs. We praise you for not only your provision of what we need but also how you lavish blessing over us and give us the desires of our hearts. We thank you for how you cherish us.

Open our eyes to see your love for us more clearly. We are amazed at how you see us. You don’t just see where we are now. You don’t just see how many times we fail and all the mistakes of our past. You don’t see our earthly heritage. You don’t see the many ways we should be discredited. Even though you see everything about us and know that we were created from dust, that is not where you stop. We praise you for seeing the child that you so carefully designed and molded into something beautiful out of that dust. You see how we have been washed clean. You see the work that is happening in us and where you are taking us. We praise you, Father, for how loving you are. Show us how you see us. Show us who we are in you. Teach us truly how to live in awe of you.

In Jesus name, amen.
