September 3, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭20:7‬

“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory!” Psalms 20:7 TPT

Yahweh, we thank you so much that you are our miracle working deliverer. We are so grateful for how you saved us from our sin. But you don’t just stop with that huge act. That would certainly count as doing more than enough for us. But no, you rescue and save us constantly both from traps of the enemy and situations caused by bad decisions of our own and other people. We say THANK YOU for all you do to save us.

Lord, teach us how to find our strength in you. When we depend on our own strength or the strength of man-made things, we will be disappointed. Those things will eventually fail us. They are not reliable and can be overcome. How wonderful is it that we have access to a strength that cannot be overcome! Help us learn more and more to recognize when we have moved away from relying on you and onto ourselves or some other person/thing for strength.

Lord, we want your strength to face today. You know exactly what we are going to come up against and exactly what we will need to overcome. You are the source that can give us those exact things we need. We come before you this morning with open arms and ask for you to fill us with what we will need for today.

Jesus, we thank you for your strength for today. We praise you for the miracle-deliverance that we are going to see today. We praise you that you make us strong and ready for the battles we will face today.
