September 26, 2024 - ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭4‬:‭7

“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” Zechariah 4:7 NKJV

Lord, we praise you that no matter what kind of mountain that we are facing, no matter how massive and impossible it looks, it is never a match for you. You are more powerful, wiser, and have more resources than any issues we might be up against. To you it is nothing more than a few grains of sand that you can scatter in an instant. Teach us how to see our mountains with the right perspective. They might be bigger than anything we can see fall in our own strength, but it is not by our strength, but yours. It is you that will make our mountains plains.

Lord, teach us not only how to look at our mountains with your perspectives, but to speak to them with the authority that you have given us. When I read this verse, I can hear the attitude in that question, “Who are you, O great mountain?” Let us declare to our mountains, “Who are you who would stand in the way of a child of the Most High God.” Let us declare our praise to you for making our mountains plains even if we have yet to see them start to crumble. Let us not just tell you about our mountains but let us more so declare to our mountains who you are. We stand and declare in faith that you will either level our mountains or carry us over them. Either way, we are more than conquerors in you. Let your will be done and we will praise you through it all. We speak grace, grace to our mountains, and declare that it is not by our strength or effort that the mountains move, but fully you, our Lord. All praise to you, our mighty-mountain mover.

In Jesus name, amen.
