September 25, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭101:6

“My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.” Psalms 101:6 NIV

Today, Jesus, let our lives and our praise minister to you. We don’t want to live a life of always needing or wanting something from you. We want to give back to you like you give to us. We want to uplift you like you uplift us. We want to bring you joy like you bring us joy. We want to minister to you like you minister to us.

Increase our desire to live a faithful life to you. We don’t want our spiritual life to fluctuate between cold, hot, and warm. We want to live lives that are burning hot for you. We don’t want to have days that we haven’t given you time and attention. We don’t even want to just give you an allotted time in our day then go about our day not thinking of you much more. No, we want to live a life of relationship, where we are constantly thinking about you and communicating with you. We want to dwell with you and be considered faithful friends to you, Jesus.

Holy Spirit, help us learn how to live blameless lives. We invite you to help us walk righteously. Give us a strong hate for sinful behaviors. We thank you that you have given us the strength to say no. We ask for you to open our eyes when we are making compromised decisions that will lead us to a place that we can’t or won’t say no.

Again, Lord, we ask for you to show us today specific things that we can do that will bless you. We want to minister to you. Not just today, but every day. We want to live a lifestyle of ministry to you, not just for you. Holy Spirit, teach us how to do this.

In Jesus name, amen.
