September 21, 2023 - Psalms 22:9-10

“Lord, you delivered me safely from my mother’s womb. You are the one who cared for me ever since I was a baby. Since the day I was born, I’ve been placed in your custody. You’ve cradled me throughout my days, and you’ve always been my God.” Psalms 22:9-10 TPT

Lord, we thank you so much for creating each of us. We thank you so much that you have protected us and kept us alive for your purposes. You are our source of life. It is your breath that gives us life. You keep the blood flowing through our veins. It is you in the center of every atom holding everything all together. We thank you for the life that you give us.

We thank you that you are our protector and caretaker. We thank you that you are always with us no matter what we are facing. Even when the world around us tries to destroy us and break us to pieces, you make sure that we are never alone. We thank you that no matter how broken we get, you have the power to put us back together again, stronger than before.

We thank you that you cradle us. You have never walked away or turned your back and missed a moment. You have guarded and protected us, even when we didn’t feel it. We praise you for how you love us. It is such a beautiful thing.

Open our eyes to see your love and work in our lives more and more. Help us to understand those times when it would be easy to think you walked away or we don’t understand why you didn’t stop something from happening. Help silence the enemy’s lies that would want to convince us of things other than the truth. We commit to believing the truth about who you are, your love for us, and the beauty of how you tenderly care for us all the days of our lives.

In Jesus name, amen.
