September 19, 2024 - Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭19

“I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.” Revelation 3:19 NLT

Lord, we praise you for your correction and discipline. It is for our good. You only do this because you love us. You want to see us living in freedom and in the full blessings that you have stored up for us. We will not see those things released fully in our lives when we are living in sin and walking in disobedience. The road of sin and disobedience will only lead to destruction. They will pull us further away from your life-giving presence.

Lord, we want to choose to walk in your light. Help us keep our hearts turned toward you. We want to be diligent in our pursuit of righteousness because through righteousness we will have greater access to you. Help us to never be indifferent towards sin, but passionate in how we run from sin and are quick to deal with it when we discover it in our lives. Help us welcome your correction and not hide from it. Purify us and draw us closer to your, our precious Lord.
