September 14, 2024 - Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭11

“So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Matthew 7:11 NLT

Father, you are such a wonderful and perfect Father. You are wonderful to us. You lavish your love and blessings down over us. Grow our understanding of your love. Open our minds to understand your ways. Show us any lies that we are believing about how you love us or want to bless us. Help us to change our thinking. Rewire our brains where needed so that we have a correct view of you as our perfect Father. Even the best of fathers here on earth will fall short of loving us the way you love us. For those of us who didn’t have a loving father in our lives, bring us people that can help us understand how you love us.

We are so grateful for how you love us. We praise you that you don’t see all our shortcomings and limitations. You don’t see all the mistakes we have made. We praise you that when you look at us you see all that you created us to be and what we will become in you. We praise you that your love isn’t based on our performance or what we can do for you. Father, we can do nothing without your help and are worth nothing outside of you. It is in you that we find our value. It is through you that we can overcome our shortcomings. All praise be to you! You are such an awesome God.

In Jesus name, amen.
