September 12, 2023 - John 16:33

“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”” John 16:33 TPT

Lord, we thank you so much for all that you teach us. We thank you that it is for our benefit. When we follow your ways, we get to live in your peace, rest, and confidence. We are so grateful for how you operate. You don’t oppress us and make us slaves to you. The way you love and care for us is remarkable. We praise you for it.

Holy Spirit, we ask for you to help us learn all the things that we need to learn to fully walk in your ways. Correct us when we need it. Encourage us to go deeper when we get passive. Give us the perseverance to dig for your treasures of knowledge and wisdom.

Lord, we thank you so much that you have overcome the world. There is nothing that is too great for you to do. We can rest confidently knowing that no matter what we face or how bad those situations may look, you are with us. You will help get us through. Lord, teach us how to stand at rest in your peace no matter what we face. Teach us how to have the faith that we can look at any Goliath in our lives and walk courageously up to him with you expecting a victory. Teach us how to see with our spiritual eyes. We don’t want to just see the impossibilities or be overwhelmed by what lies in front of us but help us also see our powerful God standing with us and fighting for us. For with you all things are possible.
