September 12, 2022 - 1 Corinthians 2:10-12

“these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 NIV

Lord, we thank you so much for the gift of your Holy Spirit. What an amazing gift. You have given us a part of who you are. With this gift we gain access into the beginning of understanding. You are allowing us into the Holy of Holies, and you want to give us access to your thoughts. Your Spirit will give us insights into your Word and show us what you want to communicate to us.

Holy Spirit, we invite you to come and open our eyes. Reveal to us the deep things of God. Lead us into His hidden places. As we spend time studying your Word, give us your insights. Show us how to specifically apply it to our lives. Help us memorize it and get it buried deep within us. Work within us and allow your Word to transform us. Show us how to use Scripture as a weapon to defeat the Devil and his army. Teach us how to go deeper in our journey of knowing God. Transform us into people who live out your Kingdom’s ways in all areas of our lives. We are so grateful for how you want to work in our lives and grow us. We welcome you to do just that. Give us such an understanding of all that you have done for us and given us access to. Help us understand what it really means to be a son or daughter of God. Teach us how to walk confidently in the authority you have given us. Show us how to use your power that is within us to push back the enemy. We thank you for the gift that you are and welcome you to come and work in our lives.
