September 1, 2024 - Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭26‬-‭29

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.” Galatians 3:26-29 NLT

Jesus, thank you for the price that you paid to restore us to you. Father, we thank you for adopting us and making us your children. What an honor and a privilege. We praise you that when we gave our lives to you, you washed us clean and put new clothes on us. And your grace cleans us up again and again as we mess up and come running back to you. We praise you for it. We thank you that our past no longer defines us. We are not where we came from. We are not what we used to be. We are not who our family is or isn’t. We are not how much we have or don’t have. We are a child of the most high God. We have been clothed by you. Our value and worth comes only from you and who you say we are. We have been made one with you. We are your heirs. Wow, Lord. What an honor. Teach us how to stand tall in the power and authority that you have given us, but also with the love and humility that you display to all of us. We praise you for how you love us and care for us. What an amazing God you are!
