September 1, 2022 - Jeremiah 32:27
““I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 NLT
Lord, what a wonderful statement. We praise you that you are the God over all. Thank you that you are a loving and just God. You are personal. You want all the people of the world to know you personally. You are big enough that you have the ability to know us all intimately simultaneously. Our minds can’t even comprehend that you have the time and ability to be interacting personally with each of us at the same time, but you do. And you want to. You are the God of all peoples. You know all peoples and you want them all to know you. I believe that you have a place in your being that is reserved just for me. It waits all day for me to interact with you. It is always available for me. When I don’t take the time out to include you in my life, that place longs for me. This is one of the reasons you grieve so much for the lost. There are so many people who don’t know that you are waiting and longing for them to come into their place in you. For you are the God of all the peoples of the world, and we want to do all that we can so that all the people can get to know you.
Lord, we praise you that you are the Lord of Lords. You are in charge, and we can leave everything in your hands. There is nothing that is too hard for you. We can take rest in this. It takes a world of burdens off our shoulders. We don’t have to make things happen or have life all figured out. We can trust you to handle it all. You are all knowing and all powerful. There is nothing that you can’t orchestrate together for our good. We can trust you to make a way, even if it looks impossible to us. All we must do is walk in obedience with our faith and trust secure in you. We praise you that we serve you, such a wonderful God. What an honor to be known and loved by you.
In Jesus name, amen.
