October 9, 2023 - Deuteronomy‬ ‭10:14-15

“Look, the highest heavens and the earth and everything in it all belong to the Lord your God. Yet the Lord chose your ancestors as the objects of his love.” Deuteronomy 10:14-15 NLT

Lord, you are the creator of everything. You made it all. It all belongs to you. You are worthy of our lives. We declare that they belong to you. You are worthy of all our honor and praise. We worship you. We thank you that everything is in your hands. Nothing is outside of your control. We can trust you with it all.

Lord, every time we think about the fact that you chose us to be the object of your love it’s hard to comprehend. How amazing! We thank you for how you chose to love us. Your love is so wondrous. Thank for giving your life to buy our freedom. Thank you for you how you take care of our every need. Thank you for how you lavish your love over us, blessing us with wonderful gifts. Thank you that you show us what pure love looks like.

Show us how to show other people your love. We want to show those who don’t know your love what they are missing. We want to show those who feel forgotten and overlooked, that they are chosen and fully loved by you. Help us know how to do that. Teach us how to love people like you love them. Let us be your love in their lives. Open our eyes to see people through your eyes. Let us see beyond the masks that people put up and know how to speak into the core of who they are. Grow our passion for sharing your Gospel with the lost and hurting.
