October 7, 2024 - Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭6

“So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.” Ephesians 1:6 NLT

Yes, our Lord, we praise you for your glorious grace. Where would we be without it? Doomed

and hopeless. Thank you so much for how you love us and pour out your grace over us. Not only does grace cover our sins and allow our salvation, but you give it to us without end. Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we will find your grace in our weakness or time of need. It is safe to say we walk in weakness or have needs every day. We praise you that you make your grace to walk through those things available to us. What a beautiful thing. It will carry us through those hard times when we are weak or lacking. It keeps those things from crushing us. Teach us how to take the time to find it. We only need to ask, and you will pour it out over us. You are so good to us. Let it be our natural response to turn to you when we need help. Let it be a natural thing for us to live our lives through your grace and not in our own strength or ways.

We praise you for how your grace helps us. It will bear the weight of our situation. It is what allows us to walk through the toughest seasons without them crushing us. It is what allows us to find your joy even in seasons marked by deep sorrow. It is what helps us offer forgiveness to someone who has wounded us deeply. We can walk through these things that seem impossible when we ask and look for your grace in our situation. We praise you for making it readily available to us. You are such a wonderful Father to us. We praise you, our Magnificent God, for your goodness to us.

In Jesus name, amen.
