“ For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name…” Hebrews 6:10a NKJV
Lord, we thank you that you treasure our affections. We never have to wonder if you know that we love you. You know. You don’t take it for granted. You do not ever forget how we feel towards you. You treasure our love. You don’t miss a moment of it.
Stir up more affection for you in us, Lord. We want to fall more in love with you. You are worth every bit of our affection. You have made us into new creations. You have loved us unconditionally. You laid down your life so that we can love you freely. You have defeated the sin in our lives. You have made us one with you. You call us your sons and daughters. Stir us to love you more for what you have done for us. Open our eyes more to see you in all your glory. We want to love you more and more. For you are worthy of all our love.
Show us today how you see our love for you. Show us more of how we are loved and treasured by you. It is amazing how you love us. We want to respond to that love and fall more in love with you. We can’t help but do that when we see your unfiltered love for us. Open our eyes to see it for what it really is and not through the lenses that we might tend to see it through. We don’t want anything to make it look less than what it really is. Destroy the lies and the false lenses we see you and your love through. Let us see more of your true love for us today. We love you, Father!
