October 29, 2023 - John‬ ‭14:26

“But when the Father sends the Spirit of Holiness, the One like me who sets you free, he will teach you all things in my name. And he will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.” John 14:26 TPT

Father, we thank you so much for giving us the Holy Spirit. What a massive blessing. He is such a help to us as we learn to walk in holiness. We thank you for the comfort that he brings us as he walks alongside us through our lives. He lets us know that we are seen and never alone. When we rejoice, he is rejoicing with us. When we hurt, he is here catching every shed tear.

How amazing to have someone who is always with us that understands exactly what we are feeling and can do something about it. When what we feel doesn’t line up to the reality of your truth, he will let us know. He will help us realign ourselves to your Word. He gives us a greater understanding of what truth looks like and opens our minds to really understand what your Word is telling us. He helps us to consume your Word so that it becomes a part of who we are. We don’t just want to read it; we want it to change who we are. We want our lives to be lived out of its principles.

Holy Spirit, we ask for you to transform our lives until they line up with what you say is truth. Give us both the desire to dig into your Word and a supernatural understanding of it. Help us bury it deep within us. We want to know it and have it on hand when it is needed. Bring it back to mind so we can fight the enemy with it. It is our sword, and it will cause him to flee when we know how to use it. We want to be warriors poised and ready for battle. Grow us into strong warriors, Holy Spirit.

In Jesus name, amen.
