October 21, 2023 - Ephesians 3:20
“Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.” Ephesians 3:20 TPT
Lord, thank you so much for how you use us and how much more you want to use us. Help us learn to not limit you with our doubt and unbelief. Forgive us for those, and for the fear and pride that often holds us back.
We want to expect you to do infinitely more than anything we can request, imagine, or dream up, because your Word says you will. We thank you, Lord, for the dreams that you have for us. A parent normally has such wonderful dreams for their child, and yet your dreams for us are so much better. You know us intimately. You created us. You know down to the smallest details what our giftings and passions are. You know what we will succeed at. You know what will fulfill us the most. Those are the things that you dream for us. You want what is best for us, without any bias or selfishness. Your vision for us is not limited by anything, but so often we are what limits your dreams for us from becoming a reality.
Lord, forgive us for all the ways we have limited you. Help us learn to let go and fully trust you. Take us where and use us how you want. Lead and guide our every step. Even when it doesn’t make sense and we don’t understand, we can trust that you know best. Thank you for how you love us. Thank you that you want your miraculous power to constantly energize us. We welcome that into our lives. We say, “Yes, Lord, yes!”
