October 12, 2023 - 2 Corinthians 5:20
“We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”” 2 Corinthians 5:20 TPT
Jesus, what an amazing privilege that you entrusted to us. We get to tell the world of your amazing love, the most incredible & precious gift ever given to mankind. A treasure with a value higher than we can comprehend and yet you have chosen us to be your ambassadors to tell the world all about you. Thank you, Lord.
We ask for you to use us, speak through our lips. Give us supernatural insight to know how to share your love with each individual we encounter. We want to meet them where they are and share exactly what they need to hear to open up to you. Lord, without your insight, we can’t know what is going on in people or what they need to hear to understand. Open our eyes to see and our ears to hear what it is you want to say to each person.
Lord, we ask for you to give us supernatural courage to share your name freely with the world around us. Help us to always be bold with our love for you. Forgive us for anytime that we have been ashamed and wanted to hide the fact that we are followers of you. Give us more of your love for the lost around us. Let your love motivate us to be willing to get out of our comfort zones and share you freely. The gift of your salvation is truly the greatest treasure ever and we never want to selfishly hide that gift from others. We want to shine your light into the world unashamedly.
Holy Spirit, give us boldness and insight and help us to shine bright. We thank you for always being with us. You are such a wonderful God to serve.
