October 12, 2022 - Romans 11:33-36

“Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.” Romans 11:33-36 NLT

Lord, we are forever amazed at who you are. We praise you that there is no one wiser than you. You are wisdom itself. There is nothing that you need advice about. There is nothing that you don’t understand. There is nothing that you can’t see the best possible solution for. We could never get in a situation that you can’t solve.

Lord, how wonderful that you are so much more than what we could ever comprehend. We would not want to worship a God who our small minds could comprehend. You wouldn’t be much of a God if that was the case. We praise you and trust you even when we can’t understand your decisions or your ways. Even when we don’t like the situation we are in and we don’t agree with what is happening, help us learn to trust your ways. We understand that we live in a fallen world where sin and evil are working all around us. You are not the cause of all the bad things that happen around us and to us. We know that even though you didn’t stop them from happening, we can still trust that you are with us, you love us, and you are good to us. We praise you for working all things out for our good. We can stand on that promise, even when we don’t understand.

Lord, we praise you that you will eventually work things out in a way that you will get all the glory. For you deserve all the glory for all eternity. We commit our lives to bringing you glory!
