November 29, 2024 - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭13

“Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT

Lord, how beautiful are faith, hope, and love. Where would we be in life without them? We praise you because we don’t have to find out. We can’t thank you enough for how you provide these things for us. The way you love us unconditionally. You forgive us again and again. You love us when we don’t deserve it. We could never do enough to earn your love. Thank you that it is freely given. Thank you that you don’t give up on us, but you just keep pursuing us with the most flawless love. Your love wraps around us, bringing healing to our souls. It is through your amazing love that we find hope and can stand in faith. Because your love never ends and there is nowhere too far for your love to go to reach us. No matter the situation we face, and how hopeless it might look, because of your love we know that you won’t fail us. We can always cling to hope. You are faithful and your character can’t be anything but faithful. It is who you are. How can we not stand in faith that you will come through for us when we understand who you are. Ground us deeper in the truth of who you are and how you love us.

Lord, we also ask for you to transform us to be more like you. Teach us how to love others like you love them. As we love, teach us how to spread your hope to those who need hope. Help us be faithful to others the way you are faithful to us. Our world is so in need of faith, hope, and love, especially unconditional love. Let us be a living example of you to the world around us.

In Jesus name, amen.
