November 29, 2023 - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:11

“When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.” 1 Corinthians 13:11 TPT

Lord, the fact that you created us as beings that discover, and grow is pretty amazing. What joy comes with discovering new things and with accomplishing things we have never been able to accomplish before. I am grateful that we get to experience that joy. I love that you have given us the ability to grow and change. Thank you for giving us talents and giftings that we can discover and choose to nurture. It is so exciting each time we uncover an undiscovered talent. What a joy it is when we accomplish something that we were not good at because we worked hard at learning this skill.

You have given us the ability to learn and grow, but it is often up to us to actually do that. You are trusting us to do just that. Lord, we want to live up to that. We want to grow in all that you have for us. We want to grow by learning from you. We want to grow in our relationship with you. We want to grow in our faith and in our anointing. We want to grow in understanding of your Word. We want every aspect of our lives in you to grow. Holy Spirit, guide us in the journey of growth. Show us where we need to focus. Lead us into the things that we will succeed in and that will fulfill us that we haven’t even discovered yet. Give us the strength and courage to push through the pain of growth so that we can find success.

Lord, life’s journey with you is such a beautiful journey. Lord, we thank you that we get to walk it with you.
