November 28, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭16:5-6

“Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands. Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!” Psalms 16:5-6 TPT

Jesus, you are the greatest prize. There isn’t anything of a higher value that we could possess. We thank you that you are our inheritance. Thank you for the sacrifice that you made to make it possible for us to spend eternity with you. Even with having an eternity with you, we will never get bored or run out of things to discover with you. How amazing that is going to be.

We thank you that you hold our destiny in your hands. You created us and know what will fulfill us. We thank you that the destiny you have for each of us was created to go along with how you designed us. A perfect match. We can always trust your plans for us.

Lord, we thank you that your pleasant path leads us to pleasant places. What a beautiful description. Help us trust this to be true. I have found that even when our path is taking us through hard and dark places, if we keep our eyes focused on you and not our circumstances, we will find that you make that path pleasant. Help us learn to find our pleasant place in you even in the unpleasant places of life.

Lord, it is so easy for us to say that we are overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you. You are more than amazing to us. Thank you, Lord, for all your amazing promises to us. Thank you for how you provide and make a way before us. You are truly an awesome God to follow. We commit our lives to you again today. It is all for you.
