November 25, 2023 - Psalms 96:11-12

“Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice. Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth.” Psalms 96:11-12 NLT

Yes, Lord. We agree with all creation. We shout our praises for you are worthy. Let us live a life that brings you joy and glory all the days of our lives. Help us remember what this life is all about and prioritize correctly. Help us to remind ourselves every day to focus on your goodness and to decide to live in your joy. Let how we decide to live our lives be a clear representation of what it means to rejoice in you. We gladly give our lives to you. We will live a life full of praise for you.

Unlike the earth and other creatures on it, you gave us the choice to praise you. Lord, we declare that we choose to join in with the heavens and the earth and praise your name. Just as the waves are faithful to roll across the sea and onto the land, let our love and praise for you continually roll out of us. As the fields and crops are faithful to produce and joyfully keep us fed, let us be joyful as we serve you and produce praise to lift you high. Just as the trees rise up above it all and wave their branches to honor you, help us learn to rise above the hard times in our lives and still praise you through them. For you are worthy, oh Lord, worthy of all our praise and adoration. We praise your Holy name!

In Jesus name, amen.
