November 24, 2023 - Isaiah‬ ‭41:13

“For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” Isaiah 41:13 NLT

Lord, we thank you so much that you are holding onto us. We praise you that we are not unseen or forgotten. We are right with you. I think of a parent who holds their child’s hand. Sometimes, it is so we don’t get lost, but stay close. Other times, it is so we stay safe and can’t wander off into danger. Lord, we thank you for holding our hand so we can’t get lost, and we are safely at your side. Jesus, I also think of a couple in love. They hold hands to stay close because they want to feel connected to one another. They want to feel their love. Lord, we want the same things with you. Hold our hand and allow us to feel connected with you. Allow us to feel your love through that connection.

Thank you that we don’t have to be afraid. Thank you that you are always with us. We are never forgotten. You are holding our hand and leading us. Even when we walk through scary situations, we can trust you. Since you are leading us, we can be confident that you will lead us through it. We can know that you are with us and will help us face anything that we come across. We thank you for your faithfulness. You are such an amazing God to us. We praise you for your love for us! Help us to never let go of your hand. Help us to always trust your leading. Help us to always walk in peace wherever you lead.

In Jesus name, amen.
