November 23, 2023 - Psalms 100:4

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalms 100:4 NLT

Lord, as we focus on the things that we are grateful for today, the thing that tops that list is you. You are the greatest treasure in our lives. Today we want to enter your gates with Thanksgiving. Father, we are so thankful for the gift of your son, Jesus. We are grateful for the relationship that we get to have with you. Thank you for the grace, mercy, forgiveness, love, and acceptance that you extend to us each day. Thank you for the other gifts in our lives that you have blessed us with. We thank you for our friends, family, and all your provisions in our lives.

We enter your courts with praise. Almighty God, you are the giver of life. You are the source of all wisdom. We are in awe of all you have created. The beauty you place before us is astounding. We praise you for the spectacular sunsets and sunrises you paint daily to bless us. We praise you for the love that you shine down on us. We praise you, the omniscient, omnipresent, all-powerful God-over-all, for seeing us, and knowing us. We praise you for inviting us into your courts. We bow before you today and shout out “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty! Who was, and is, and is to come!” Worthy are you, Lord. All glory and praise are due to your name.

Help us stay focused in all the celebration and feasting today that you are our real reason for celebrating Thanksgiving. We are so very grateful to you for all the abundance you provide for us throughout our lives.

In Jesus name, amen.
