November 22, 2023 - 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:8-9

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT

Lord, we praise you that even when life seems to come at us from every side with pressure, that it isn’t too much for you. When we feel like we are in that place of pressure, teach us how to always turn to you for help and not try to handle it all on our own.

Lord, we thank you that when life has us confused or baffled, we don’t have to fall into despair because you are always with us. You will help bring clarity when we don’t have it. And even in the season where we are waiting for you to bring clarity, we can trust that you have it all under control. Help us to become comfortable trusting you in the unknown.

Lord, we thank you that even when our enemies are hunting us down and seem to be focused on destroying us, you will always come to our rescue. Even when the situation is completely impossible, you can split the Red Sea. We thank you that you can move in supernatural ways to change the situation by doing the unimaginable. All we need to do is have faith in you and walk in obedience to what you ask.

Lord, we thank you that when we do get knocked down or even fall, you are still there with us. We thank you that the struggles make us stronger and grow our faith/trust in you.

Lord, you allow pressures and hard times to grow us, but you are such a good Father who will always walk us through it and never allow us to go through more than we are ready for. We thank you for your goodness!

In Jesus name, amen.
