November 21, 2022 - Psalms 9:1-2
“I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.” Psalms 9:1-2 NLT
Lord, you are so worthy of all our praise. How marvelous are your ways. The things that you have done and are doing for us truly are incredible. Every day we wake up because you give us life. We praise you for creating us. Thank you that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We praise you for the thought and care that you put into designing every detail about us. Thank you for how you have loved us even before we were planted in our mother’s womb. There are so many huge things that you have done for us, like dying so that we could be set free. You forgive us again and again. You are constantly working on making us better people and helping us overcome our earthly desires. You long to spend time with us and want us to get to know you as a friend. These things are beyond amazing, and we can never thank you enough for them.
Lord, you never stop with your blessings. You bless us in little ways all day long. When we open our eyes and look, we will see you all around us. Please, continue to open our eyes every day so we recognize more of your blessings. We praise you for the way that you provide for our needs, sometimes even before we know the need exists. We praise you for how you bless us with things that make our hearts happy. We praise you for the feeling of the sun on our skin. We praise you for the way that singing songs of worship to you fills us with so much joy. It is such a joy to follow after you. We deserve nothing, yet you fill us with your presence and pour your blessings over us. We praise your holy name. We sing your praises from the depth of our hearts. You are worthy of all that we are, and we surrender to you again today.
