November 19, 2024 - Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭5‬-‭6

“I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:5-6 NIV

Lord, we praise you that there is no other like you. No one can begin to compare to you. Not in their wisdom. Not in their strength. Not in their love. Not in their authority. Not in their kindness. Not in any way does anyone or anything begin to compare to you. No other god can even come close to you. Apart from you nothing can exist. Oh, how you deserve all the honor and glory. One day everything will bow before you and give you the acknowledgement that you deserve. But Lord, we want to choose to acknowledge you here on earth so we can spend eternity in your presence. Come and make yourself known. Use us to show your glory to the world around us. Even when we don’t acknowledge you, make yourself known. Show yourself, our Lord. From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same, make your presence known. You deserve all the glory. Open our eyes to who you are and help us live in a way that brings honor to your name in all we do. You deserve our everything. There is no cost too great for us to pay to bring glory to your name. Let our lives declare that you are Lord to everyone around us. Help us to stand out as different to the world around us because of the way we live to glorify you. You are worthy, our Lord. All glory belongs to you.
