May 9, 2024 - Psalms 138:3
“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalms 138:3 NKJV
Lord, we praise you for how you hear our prayers. You hear our every word, our every thought, and even the things our souls can’t put into words. You see us and know us. You understand the reasons behind our thoughts. You know us better than we know ourselves. We praise you for how you truly know and deeply care about us.
We praise you for answering us. We might think you are silent, but that is not true. We might be looking in the wrong place for our answers. You might have already spoken, and yet we don’t want to accept that answer. There are many reasons why we might believe that you are not speaking to us, but the truth is any thought that tells us you will not answer us is a lie. You are a God who longs to have a relationship with us. You long to be in constant communication with us. Help us uproot the lies and thought patterns that tell us anything different.
Lord, we ask for you to deepen our relationship with you and fill us with your boldness. Grow our roots deep in you so that our souls are deeply anchored. When the storms arise or the droughts come, we want to boldly stand strong and green. We praise you that this is also your desire for us. Help us press in and make it the reality of our lives.
