May 7, 2023 - Psalms‬ ‭19:7-8

“God’s Word is perfect in every way; how it revives our souls! His laws lead us to truth, and his ways change the simple into wise. His teachings make us joyful and radiate his light; his precepts are so pure! His commands, how they challenge us to keep close to his heart! The revelation-light of his word makes my spirit shine radiant.” Psalms 19:7-8 TPT

Lord, we thank you so much for your Word. It is such a wonderful gift. It isn’t just words on paper; it is alive. It’s more than just do’s and don’ts; it is a love letter given to us to show us how to walk in your love and be who you designed us to be. You reveal so much more to us each time we read it. You give us your revelation-knowledge to see and understand.

Lord, today we ask for more of the revelation-knowledge. Allow your word to root itself deep within us and revive us. Give us a greater desire to search out the treasures you hide in it. Never let us be satisfied to just take the message we get from pastors or other teachers. Help us to dig out those treasures ourselves. Lead us to your truth and make us wise.

Lord, it says that your word makes us joyful and that we will radiate your light. We declare that over our lives. Make us people that others are drawn to because of the light and joy within us.

Lord, we thank you that you have the purest motives. That there is no evil within you. We can trust you and all that you teach. Purify us and make us more like you. We want to draw near to your heart. Your laws and commands are not to limit our fun, but to protect us. Following them will get us more of you and that is truly the most amazing thing we could ever have in our life. You will fulfill us in ways the world’s counterfeits never could. You will make us radiantly shine out of pure joyfulness.
