May 17, 2023 - Psalms 139:13-14
“You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!” Psalms139:13-14 TPT
Lord, we thank you that we are wonderfully and marvelously made. You took the time to create our every detail and characteristic. Nothing was forgotten or overlooked, and with no mistakes. God, you are perfect, and you don’t make mistakes. You made us perfectly, just the way you wanted us. How could we want to be any different than exactly how you designed us?
We are your treasured creation. We thank you that you didn’t create us and then forget about us. You see us. You don’t just see us as “another human running around earth” in the chaos of everything. No, but in the slowed down look into our eyes and see our soul kind of way. You truly see us and know us intimately. You know our every thought and our every action. Thank you that we are truly seen and known by you. And even with all you see, you still look on us with love and adoration.
Lord, help us to see ourselves the way you see us and not through the “standards” the world sets. Forgive us for any way that we don’t like what you have created us to be. Forgive us for believing anything about ourselves that doesn’t line up with what you say about us. Open our eyes to see those thoughts. Set us free from those lies, so we can truly be who you designed us to be. Help us learn to love ourselves just as you created us. Give us supernatural confidence in your love for us and who you made us to be.
In Jesus name, amen.
