May 16, 2024 - Psalms 20:1-3

“In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he remember all your gifts and look favorably on your burnt offerings.” Psalms 20:1-3 NLT

Lord, we praise you that you are always with us in our times of trouble. We never have to go through the tough seasons alone. Help us to stand firm in that truth and learn to grab hold of you tighter in those times. Satan knows when things get hard, and we are struggling. It is when he will attack the hardest. Remind us not to forget to put on our armor in those seasons. Guard our minds and help us put the truth of your Word deep in our hearts. Give us scriptures that we use as our sword to silence His lies. Strengthen us for the battles. Remind us to cry out to you in those moments of doubt and cling to the truth harder. We don’t want to be easily swayed, but to be firmly grounded. We praise you for how you are always with us. We praise you for how you answer our cries. We praise you for how you love us all equally. No one else that you have ever helped is any more loved than us. If you helped others, you will help us. If you have strengthened others, you will strengthen us.

Lord, you are such a good God. Lord, we lift our praise, and our lives to you. We want to give you our first fruits, our best. You are worthy. All for you and all unto you. We praise you for being our loving Father. We praise you for being the Almighty. We praise you for being our fortress and safe place. All praise unto you!

In Jesus name, amen.
