May 14, 2023 - Proverbs 31:30-31
“Charm can be misleading, and beauty is vain and so quickly fades, but this virtuous woman lives in the wonder, awe, and fear of the Lord. She will be praised throughout eternity. So go ahead and give her the credit that is due, for she has become a radiant woman, and all her loving works of righteousness deserve to be admired at the gateways of every city!” Proverbs 31:30-31 TPT
Lord, we want to thank you today for the mothers in our lives, whether it is a biological mother or someone who fills that place. We are grateful for the women that you put in our lives to love, encourage, and guide us through life. We want to honor them today. Show us how to give them the credit due. Give us insight on what we can do today that will bring a blessing and joy into their day. We also want to spend a few minutes asking you to pour your abundant blessings over them. Fill them up with more of your spirit and draw them closer to your heart. We pray that they would see the desires of their heart come to pass.
Lord, for those of us who are women, we ask today that you would help us be better women. We want to be virtuous women who live in the wonder, awe, and fear of the Lord. Let us be known for all eternity not necessarily for the great feats we accomplished here on earth, but because of how we loved you with all we are and walked in great faith and obedience to you, Lord. Let our lives be marked by our loving works of righteousness done for your name’s sake. Let us be mothers who raise our children to honor you throughout their lives. Even for those of us who don’t have our own physical children, show us the people that you have put in our lives that we are to help disciple and raise up in you. Give us a heart to reach out to those in need of a Godly mother figure in their lives.
In Jesus name, amen.
