May 13, 2022 - Psalms 18:32–33
“God, you have wrapped me in power and made my way perfect. Through you I ascend to the highest peaks to stand strong and secure in you.” Psalms 18:32–33 TPT
Lord, we praise you so much for how you wrap us in your arms. You hold us so tightly and securely. We can rest in the safety in your arms. We can let down our guard and fully trust you. We praise you for the power that you possess. We praise you for the love you have for us. You would never want to harm us. You only want what is best for us. Even in the breaking, we trust it is you making us stronger and more mature in you. We praise you that your ways for us are always perfect. Help us learn to trust you and your ways more and more. Even when we don’t understand or even when we hate the journey you have us on, help us never doubt your love and plans for us.
Lord, we thank you that you take us to the highest peaks. When we keep our eyes set on you, you will carry us through the hard times. It doesn’t mean they go away, or they are not hard, but you help us rise above them with our attitude. You are with us in all the fires of life. If we stay focused on you in the midst of them, you will help us dance in the fire instead of it destroying us. How amazing is that Lord! We can remain strong and secure no matter what we face. It’s so wonderful! We praise you that you are the God of light, and you will always push back the darkness no matter how thick it feels. We don’t ever have to get lost when we have you. Grow our faith stronger and help our confidence become durable to stand even through the toughest seasons of life. Help us bury the truth and promises of your Word deep in our hearts, so they can carry us through those seasons. We want to cling to them, trusting their truth even when they don’t feel true. Brand them into our hearts in a way that circumstances can’t cause us to walk away.
In Jesus name, amen.
