May 12, 2023 - Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT

Father, we thank you that you always go before us. We pray that you would light our path and make our way clear. Show us each detail of how to move forward. We pray that you would show each of us where to set our foot for each step. We pray that you would also make the timing of each step clear. We ask that you silence any confusion and give us peace in trusting you. If we are to stand still for a season, give us peace and patience in that. Show us how to effectively use our time even while standing still.

Lord, we also thank you that you will never fail us or abandon us. You are always with us. We are never forgotten. You have amazing plans for each of our lives. Your thoughts for us outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. We are so honored to be called your sons and daughters. You are our most faithful Father. Thank you. Never let us forget how much we mean to you and how much you are with us. Silence any lies of the enemy that would tell us something different.

Lord, we thank you that we never have to be afraid or discouraged, for you stand with us. Even when we can’t see what is ahead, what we see is so much bigger than us, or we don’t like what we see, we can trust that you are with us, and we won’t face it alone. We thank you that we have the God of the universe, the all-powerful, wisest, most loving God standing with us and going before us. Thank you, Lord. What an honor to serve you. We commit our lives, actions, and steps to you again. Have it all, Lord. We love you.

In Jesus name, amen.
