March 7, 2022 - Colossians‬ ‭1:20

“and through him (Christ) God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.” Colossians 1:20 NLT

Jesus, how wonderful you are to us. We thank you for the price that you paid on the cross to reconcile humanity back to you. We thank you that no one has messed up too badly to be exempt from your reconciliation. You paid the price for all the sins of every person. Your blood paid the full price. It will cover up and wash away every sin that we bring to you. We thank you that you long for every person to be brought back into right relationship with you. Thank you for bridging the gap in between heaven and earth.

Jesus, we pray for our lost friends and family. Thank you that your blood was shed to reconcile them to you. We praise you that you want to see them surrender to you more than we do. We praise you for your perfect love for them. We praise you that no situation or person is too hard for you to reach. We pray for their salvation right now. We ask that you break down any walls that they have built up to keep you out. We ask that you let your love pierce their hearts and melt away any lies that they are believing about you. We ask that you destroy any stronghold that the enemy has on their lives. Let your saving grace reach down and pull them out of Satan’s hold. Show us our role in this process.

Lord, you are so passionate about reconciling the lost to you. You left heaven, came to earth, and died a criminal’s death to make that possible. We don’t want one person that we could have reached to miss out on a relationship with you because we were too busy, too afraid, or too ashamed to clearly share you with others. Overwhelm us with a desire to see the lost come to know you. We want to commit our lives to this task. For you are worthy of our all in this area, Jesus.

In Jesus name, amen.
