March 29, 2023 - Psalms 91:11-13
“God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet!” Psalms 91:11-13 TPT
Lord, we praise you so much for how you walk with us. You are so amazing. Thank you for sending angels to each of us to watch over and protect us. Thank you for defending and fighting for us. When we show up and walk in obedience, even when the situations look impossible, you can cause the armies we face to kill themselves off. With you nothing is impossible. It is such a privilege to walk with you and be loved by you.
You know what we can handle and will never allow more than what we can take. And what you do allow is so that we can grow stronger and more rooted in you. When we break, it is so you can put us back together even more beautifully. We can trust you that you have the best in store for us. You guard us from the traps of the enemy. You will catch us when we stumble. When we get hurt, you are there to tend to us and allow us to see your heart for us.
Lord, help us to trust the truth of this verse even through the times when it doesn’t seem true, when pain and confusion seem to be all we see. Help us to trust you are still in control and protecting us. Help us to rise beyond the lies that the enemy wants to feed us and trample them under our feet. Help us conquer even in the hardest of seasons. Thank you that no matter what things look like, you are in control and love us more than we can understand. You are good and we are not forgotten. How amazing. Let us always stand on the promises of this verse. Let us always see you through eyes of love.
