March 25, 2025 - Exodus 35‬:‭21 &‬ ‭36‬:‭2

“And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, and brought the Lord’s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.…And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the Lord had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work.” Exodus 35:21 & 36:2 ESV

Lord, I love to see how it was you that stirred people to give all that you needed to accomplish your plans, and then it was you who stirred the people to volunteer the skills needed to accomplish your plans. Not only that, but it was also you who blessed the people with what was needed both in items and skills. Help us to always remember that when we feel you stirring us to give of our treasure or talents to advance your plans. Let us live our lives with open hands to do your will. Help us to be quick to say, “Yes!” to any request you make of us.

Lord, I think of other plans that you have. You told us in the Bible that you planned for us to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. You want all people, tribes, nations, and tongues to know your name. There are still billions of people who need to have the opportunity to hear your name, your love, and your salvation message. Please come and stir our hearts. Stir those who you are calling to go and take your Gospel to the ends of the earth. Stir those who you are calling to give to make that possible. Stir those who can use their God-given talents to create ways for your Gospel to reach every soul. Stir the church to have a mission’s mindset and to “pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers.” We pray that the church would not delay but would respond to your stirring and we would see global salvations like we have never seen before.
