March 24, 2025 - Leviticus 20:26
“You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.” Leviticus 20:26 ESV
Lord, what an honor it is to be chosen by you. We thank you so much that you long to call us yours. To be wanted and loved by you is the greatest, and nothing begins to compare to it. We want to know you and welcome all your love. Help us learn to love you more. Give us an unquenchable hunger for more. We want to be willing to do anything you ask of us because we love to give you anything you desire. We want to be set apart for you. We don’t want to give away any part of ourselves to the world and its ways. We want to fully surrender to you. Make us holy. Help us be more than willing to look different from the world around us, to be rejected by the world around us, or to lay down anything that is taking us away from you or your plan for us.
Give us a greater revelation of who you say we are and how you value us. Open our minds and hearts to a greater understanding of your love for us. Help us to see you as our husband. We want to value our relationship with you more than any other earthly relationship. Help us to always be aware of you around us and to find the time to pour into deepening our relationship with you – that is worth whatever it costs us. Help us to always treat you like our greatest treasure!
