March 21, 2024 - Psalms 95:6-7
“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care.” Psalms 95:6-7 NLT
Lord, we come before you and bow down today. We surrender our lives to you. We yield to your lordship. We declare we are your servants. We choose to live our lives to bring you pleasure and carry out your wishes. Show us, Lord, how we can make that a reality in our lives. You are worthy of our lives, and we want to fully give them to you. You are our maker and our King.
We bow before you and throw our crowns at your feet. All our accomplishments are unto you. Let them bring you glory. We don’t want to spend our lives earning accomplishments that are for nothing more than to bring us glory. Show us any places in our lives where that is what we are doing. Where needed, help us restructure our lives so that our accomplishments are done in a way that they also provide accomplishments for your kingdom. Lord, help us be willing to surrender anything you ask without hesitation. For you are worthy, our Lord, of anything we need to sacrifice. You have sacrificed so much for us. We will never be able to repay you, but we willingly lay down anything you ask of us.
We are so grateful for how you love and care for us. You are the most amazing God ever. You watch over us every second of the day. There is nothing you miss or don’t care about. We praise you for your goodness to us. We praise you for being our great shepherd who is protecting us and loving us, who will always come after us if we wander off and get lost. We are never forgotten. You are truly a remarkable God, and it is an honor to serve you and give our all to you.
