March 20, 2025 - Hosea 2:19-20
“I will make you my wife forever, showing you righteousness and justice, unfailing love and compassion. I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the Lord.” Hosea 2:19-20 NLT
Jesus, how amazing that we are your bride. When we gave our life to you, we exchanged wedding vows. We said that we are yours forever and you declare that back to us. How beautiful. Help us see you as our husband. Like in an earthly marriage if we don’t spend time in meaningful conversations and investing in each other daily the marriage will not thrive. We want our relationship with you to deepen and thrive. Help us be like a new bride with fresh love that can’t get enough time with her groom. We want to love you like that. Even in the busiest of days, she will find ways to steal away with her groom even if it is just for a moment here and there. Let us always be looking for those moments when we can steal away with you. Let us have conversations with you like you are literally in the room and care about our every thought, because that is the truth. Stir our love and let it blossom. Let our love for you push us towards holiness and faithfulness. Draw us closer and let us know you intimately.
We praise you for how you love us. We are your treasured bride, and you stand as our guard and protector. You show us righteousness and justice. Your love is unfailing and unending. You are faithful to us even when we are not faithful to you. Your love is extraordinary, and it is such a privilege to be called yours. We are so grateful for you, your love, and that we are yours.
