March 20, 2023 - Zephaniah‬ ‭3:17

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”” Zephaniah 3:17 NLT

Father, what a beautiful declaration over us. I am constantly amazed by your love for us. I woke up this morning feeling like you were telling me that you are singing over us today. How beautiful. Thank you for how you delight in us. Thank you that you see the best in us. You choose not to look at all the mess ups. They are forgiven and forgotten, wiped clean, gone, erased. You see all of our successes and potential. You see us through eyes of love.

You are our biggest cheerleader. Regardless of how hard or even impossible life is, you are there telling us we can do it. Help us tune ourselves into your voice alone. Let us push aside anything else telling us we can’t. Any hurt or pain telling us to quit. Any lies telling us we will fail or all the reasons we shouldn’t even try. Lord, we declare our trust in you and commit to running after you and your plans.

Thank you that you calm all our fears. We thank you that you sing over us. We thank you that you delight in us. You are our mighty savior. You are with us always. How wonderful! How can we not accomplish great things with you by our side cheering us on? Thank you, Father.

In Jesus name, amen.
