March 19, 2024 - Isaiah 35:4

“Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”” Isaiah 35:4 NLT

Lord, we praise you for always being there to rescue us. How wonderful we can trust that we never stand alone when we are standing with you. Please grow our faith and trust in you. Help us learn how to overcome fear when it tries to paralyze us. We praise you that when we made you our Lord, you filled us with your power. We praise you that with your power we can overcome the fear and the other things the enemy tries to use to keep us from walking in faith and trusting in you. We speak to the spirit of fear and declare that you have no authority over our lives. We will not surrender to your control any longer. Jesus set us free from fear when he died for us. We will walk in freedom.

Lord, when we seem to be falling short and giving in to fear, remind us of the other victories we have seen you bring in our lives. Remind us of stories in the Bible and other faith filled stories we have heard from our brothers and sisters in you. Remind us of your promises to us. Stir our faith. Help us stand in faith. Help us be courageous and strong. Help us trust you to come through for us. Come and destroy our enemies. Take down those who are against us. Come do the impossible things we need to see done and rescue us. We praise you that you are our God who cares for us. You see our needs. You know exactly where we are and what our situations are. We can trust you to come through for us. Maybe not in the way or the timing we expected or wanted, but you will not forsake the righteous. You will rescue us and make a way even when our backs are up against the red sea, we are staring down at our enemies’ armies, and there seems to be no way out. Lord, you are our faithful way out. All praise to you.
