March 18, 2025 - John‬ ‭8‬:‭36

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36 ESV

Jesus, we praise you for buying our freedom. What a precious gift that is. The price you paid was high, but you offer it to us freely. The way you love and care for us is something amazing to behold, and difficult for us to comprehend. Lord, help us to never disregard the gifts that you paid such a high price for. That must be so heartbreaking to buy our freedom and then see us continue to live in bondage. You have set us free, and freedom fully belongs to us, but we must choose to walk in it. We need to determine that we love you more than the thing that has us in bondage. We need to surrender it to you and take steps towards allowing you to break it off our lives. Lead us to scriptures that will help us in the process and help us memorize and stand on them. Help us be purposeful in breaking thought patterns that need to change. Come and renew our mind and rewire our thinking so it aligns with your truth. Give us the courage to find someone to hold us accountable and be brutally honest with them. We need to declare freedom over our bondage and command Satan to let us go, in your name. With your help and taking these steps, we will begin to see the freedom you have bought us become a reality in our lives.

Lord, help us accomplish this. Silence any lies that tell us it will never work, or freedom is too out of reach for us. The truth is if we have declared you our Lord, you have set us free. We are free indeed. Help us to begin living in it. We declare that we are free indeed in every area of our lives. Hallelujah! We praise you, Jesus. You are so good to us. We praise you for freedom and all that comes with living in your freedom! Hallelujah!
