March 18, 2023 - John‬ ‭14:27

“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” John 14:27 TPT

Lord, we thank you so much for your perfect peace. How marvelous the way you care for us! You never leave us to deal with things alone or without the correct tools needed to do a great job and succeed in life. Thank you for how you care for us.

We thank you that your peace isn’t fragile. It doesn’t crack when the situation gets really crazy. No, regardless of how crazy life gets around us, your peace can carry us through beautifully. Teach us how to rest in it. Teach us out to keep our eyes focused on you and not the situation so we continually stay in your peace and walk on the water above the craziness.

Teach us to not allow fear to have a stronghold in our lives. Open our eyes to ways that fear is sneaking in that might not immediately look like fear. Also, to places where we are so used to being fearful that it has become normal and not noticed. Show us how to remove that fear and replace it with your perfect peace.

I speak peace over each of us today. I speak peace over any areas of our hearts that may be troubled today. We can trust you with every detail of our lives and every decision that needs to be made. You will lead, guide, protect, provide, give wisdom, care for and anything else that we need today. You will come through for us.

We declare we trust you, Lord. We declare we will courageously follow you and trust you with our lives today. We declare your perfect peace over every area of our lives and every situation we face today.

In Jesus name, amen.
