March 15, 2024 - 1 Chronicles 16:28-30
“O nations of the world, recognize the Lord, recognize that the Lord is glorious and strong. Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him.” 1 Chronicles 16:28-30 NLT
Worthy, worthy, worthy is the Lord God Almighty. Lord, we recognize that you are glorious and strong. You are the God of Victory. Nothing can overpower you. When we stand with you, we are always standing on the winning side. We worship you, our glorious victor. We praise you for all the battles you fight on our behalf. All the ones we see and the ones we will not know about until we get to heaven. We are so grateful for the way you defend us. You are our faithful warrior. We can trust that you will always have our backs.
Lord, we choose to stand with you, even when it costs us. For you are worthy of whatever we must pay to follow you. There is nothing that we could sacrifice that would not be worth it. We want to bring you our lives as our offering. Do with us as you please. What do you ask of us? Our answer is, “yes.” We are your servants, and we are here to serve your desires. You want our time, it is yours. You want any of our possessions, they are yours. For you are worthy of our everything. Lord, help us have a heavenly perspective about everything in our lives. Help us live our lives to bring you glory and worship in every way that we live. Help us live our lives like they are about you and not about us, for you are worthy! Help us live a holy life and run to you immediately when we mess up. Lord, we praise you for how you clean us up and restore us to righteousness. Make us clean so we can bow in your presence and worship you in your holy splendor. Reveal more of yourself to us, our Lord. Show us your worthiness and let it help us live out this prayer.
