March 12, 2022 - 1 Thessalonians 5:23
“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 NLT
Yes, Lord! We invite your Spirit to come and walk so closely with us. Strengthen us and help us stand strong for your righteousness. We want to follow in your ways in all we do. We want our actions to reflect your actions. We want to our thoughts to glorify you. Holy Spirit, please help us to grow in this area. We don’t want just our outside actions to reflect you, but our minds and hearts. We want the outside to flow out of what is in our insides. We don’t want to wear a mask that shows us as something on the outside that doesn’t line up with what is truly on our inside. Open our eyes to any places in our life where we are living with a mask. Forgive us for these cases. We want you, who sees it all, to be truly pleased with our hearts and minds. Make us blameless from the inside out.
Help us learn what it really means for our whole spirit, soul, and body to be blameless and holy. We want to walk holy lives. We don’t want to compromise. We ask for your insight and strategy on how we can overcome those sins that we are constantly finding ourselves falling into. You have given us the power to win the battle with them. We take claim of that power. We will be overcomers. This verse gives us hope for that. It says that we can be kept blameless and can be holy in every way. We stand on the truth of this verse and believe you that we can live that way. We thank you that you will help us make it possible. Thank you that we don’t have to do it on our own. We can breathe deep and walk in peace that it is through your power that we can accomplish this. We praise you for this!
