June 30, 2024 - Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭3‬-‭5‬

“A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”” Isaiah 40:3-5 ESV

Lord, make us a people who live our lives to prepare the way for you. We want to live in such a way that we are an example of you to the lost around us. We want our lives to give them a desire to experience your love. Let us be like salt that leaves them thirsting to know more about you. Help us live in such a way that we remove the obstacles to people knowing you and not add to them.

Lord, we want to see more of your glory being revealed to the world. Give us a burden to pray for revival until it comes. We want to raise the standard of holiness and righteousness in order to welcome more of your presence into our lives and the world around us. Give us your strategies on what we need to do to prepare the way for you to come. As much as we want to see you return to earth, we want more time to do all that we can to bring as many lost as possible into a relationship with you before that time. Let more of your presence come, our Lord.

In Jesus name, amen.
