June 30, 2023 - 2 Corinthians 4:15-17
“All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” 2 Corinthians 4:15-17 NLT
Lord, we thank you that all things work together for your benefit. Even the things the enemy means to destroy us, you use to grow us stronger and bring you glory. We thank you for the grace that you give us to walk through whatever we face each day. Grace upon grace. We never have to walk through life on our own strength. Thank you for that.
Whatever we are facing today, we ask for you to give us the grace to walk through it in a way that you get all the glory. Let your name be glorified through all we do today. Let us give you thanksgiving in all we face. Never let us give up, for you are worthy of us pressing in and fighting a good fight for you.
Lord, as we fight the fight and walk the walk, strengthen us every day for all we face. Grow us. Help us have the strength and maturity to carry more and more of you. Keep us strong in you.
Lord, we praise you for the big picture. We thank you that our time here on earth and all the trials we face here are very short lived. Help us remember what this time is all about. Help us keep our priorities in order with the big picture. Let us live every minute of our lives here with that perspective. Help us realize more and more what it is all about. We give our todays and tomorrows to you, for you are worthy of them all. It is all for your benefit.
