June 29, 2024 - Romans 10:13-15
“For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”” Romans 10:13-15 NLT
Lord, this verse is so challenging and inspiring. Knowing that there are approximately 3.4 billion people on the planet who still have little to no knowledge of the gospel of Jesus and little to no chance of hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ before they die. The church as a whole must get to a place where they see this as so unacceptable that they become the answer. Jesus, you have called each of us to this task. Please show us what our specific role in this mission is. If you are calling us to pray, teach us how to be interceding warriors who will go to war on behalf of their souls and not quit until the task is finished. If you are calling us to give, help us give sacrificially as if this is the most prized thing we could ever use our money for, after all it is your greatest desire. If you are calling us to go, give us the courage to answer your call. Help us get out of our comfort zone and trust you to work through us. We do pray for those that have answered the call to go. Lord, bless them, lead them, provide for them, open doors for them, sustain them. Make a way in the wilderness and let them see the fruit of their labor.
