June 29, 2023 - 2 Timothy 1:7
“For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7 TPT
Good morning, Father. We thank you for this promise. It is such a wonderful one. We do not have to live in fear. We praise you for this.
We thank you, Holy Spirit, that you walk with us. You help us overcome fear. It no longer has control over us unless we allow it. Thank you for the power you give us to overcome it. The All-Powerful God lives in us, and fear can’t stay.
Lord, I thank you for your love. Love overcomes everything. When we understand how you love us, nothing can hold us back. Your love eradicates fear. What is there to fear when we understand how much you love us? Remind us of this when fear is trying to control us.
Lord, we thank you for how you walk with us and give us the strength we need to have self-control. Honestly it is not really “self”-control. It is your power in us that helps us overcome and control our actions. If we do it in ourselves, we always fail. But we thank you that with you we can overcome our selfishness and control our thoughts and actions, so they bring you honor and glory.
Lord, we thank you for your peace. We thank you for the freedoms that come when we are not walking in fear. We thank you for the amazing things we can accomplish when fear is banished. We can get out of the boat and walk on water. We can see past the possible and do the impossible. We can trust you and not care what man thinks. We can walk in obedience to whatever you ask. With a fearless life the things we can accomplish with you are endless. We can do so much with you. Thank you for all the plans you have for us. We want to accomplish them with you, Father.
